The Show

We want you to know what you're getting, so the cast list and first third of the script are available here! Bad Wolf shows are written for flexibility and can be edited however you like to meet the needs of your actors, school, curriculum, parents, astrological chart, latest whim, etc. If you have questions about the portions of the script not shown, please contact us.

This is the first one-third of the program. We're assuming you'll use bits and pieces of this throughout the school year:

S: We’re very excited. And do you know why?
S: Because we’re finally in college?
S: This isn't college. It’s ______ (fill in right grade). And it’s gonna be so fun!

THANKSGIVING

S: The first winter was very hard on the Pilgrims.
S: So when the first good harvest came in, they celebrated.
S: The Wampanoag Indians brought food too.
S: And everyone ate lots of potatoes.
S: Actually, there weren’t any potatoes yet in Massachusetts.
S: Where were they?
S: They were vacationing in Florida.
S: The first celebration of Thanksgiving lasted for three days.

S: Today we celebrate the life and dreams of Martin Luther King, Jr.
S: He was an African-American minister in Alabama.
S: At that time, black people were not treated fairly in much of the United States.
S: Martin Luther King led a movement for equality, what we call civil rights.

S: On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, he gave one of the most famous speeches in United States history.
